Browns potential NFL Draft QB target, hometown kid shines at pro day
Quarterback prospect Drew Allar shines during Penn State's Pro Day on Wednesday; could he land with his hometown Browns?
The Cleveland Browns will be in the quarterback market every single year until they are confident that they have found the guy who can lead this franchise. The reprieve from evaluating quarterback prospects is not coming this year as the Browns absolutely have their eyes on the signal callers in the 2026 NFL Draft, and you should, too. On Monday, Cleveland Browns reporter Nathan Zegura drew a connection from the Browns to the hometown kid, Drew Allar.
Allar's 2025 could not have gone any worse, and that's no hyperbole. Allar had the opportunity to enter the draft after the 2024 season but chose to return to school to help the Penn State Nittany Lions win a National Championship. What ensued was far from that.
After a weird first three games against inferior opponents, the Nittany Lions ripped off six straight losses, the head coach was fired, and Allar broke his ankle. Disaster. Since the season, Allar has fully healed from his injury and has his eyes set on the NFL.
On Wednesday, he and his teammates competed at Penn State's Pro Day at State College. During the Pro-Day, Allar reminded everyone that he is the perfect shorts and t-shirts quarterback. Drew Allarโs workout is finished.
