Former Cowboys and longtime Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson retires form the NFL after six seasons.

The Cowboys traded a 2026 seventh-round pick to Cincinnatti for linebacker Logan Wilson before last season's deadline, in hopes his experience could help out a defense that lacked communication, among other issues. He finished his season with 24 tackles and one forced fumble. Draft pick aside, Dallas also took on roughly $2.

6 million of remaining salary last season for just 224 defensive snaps. Those numbers led to his tenure being brief, Wilson being waived by the Cowboys in order to save $6. 5 million in cap space , and now he has decided to call it a career posting a heartfelt farewell via his instagram account.
