Trinity FC settled for a 2-2 tie with Lexington SC at the Cotton Bowl. While Lexington held the advantage early, Trinity responded in the second half with goals from Lexi Missimo and Lauren Flynn. Lexington's first goal came in the match's 25th minute, as Alyssa Bourgeois capitalized on a counter-attack opportunity.

Bourgeois sped past several Trinity defenders before she sent a shot past Tyler McCamey. Trinity turned things around about 30 minutes later, when Missimo made the most of a direct free kick. The midfielder's shot took a slight deflection before it traveled over a wall of defenders and past the hands of Lexington goalkeeper Kat Asman.
