TCU player David Punch provides bulletin board material for Ohio State
TCU basketball player David Punch provided some serious bulletin board material for Ohio State ahead of the NCAA Tournament matchup.
It's almost time to watch what many sports fans consider the greatest time of the year, the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. Unlike the last three, this time the Ohio State basketball team will be a part of all the March Madness. One thing most teams and coaches want to stay away from is not giving the opposition credit and instead providing bulletin board material ahead of such a big-time matchup.
Apparently, someone forgot to tell TCU forward David Punch that because he went headfirst into the deep end of the newspaper clippings with a pretty bold claim when answering a question from Adam Jardy of the Columbus Dispatch. “I think at the end of the day we win this nine times out of 10 because of how physically gifted we are as a team and athletically gifted,” Punch told Jardy . “I can’t wait to see how we play.
” At 6-foot, 7-inches, Punch has the pedigree and skills to back it up as the Horned Frogs' best player. He is averaging 14. 3 points, 6.
7 rebounds, and two blocks in 29. 7 minutes of play so far in the 2025-26 season. He is athletic and long as a two-way player who can also cause some issues on the defensive end.
