By bringing in former Indianapolis Colts standout wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. on a three-year, $59 million deal, Pittsburgh now pairs him with DK Metcalf, creating a physically imposing tandem that’s already drawing national attention. And according to Bleacher Report, the duo could quickly rise into elite territory across the league.

Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton recently ranked the NFL’s top wide receiver pairings and placed Metcalf and Pittman inside the top 10, coming in at No. 9 overall. That puts them ahead of the Houston Texans ’ pairing of Nico Collins and Jayden Higgins.

At a glance, it’s easy to see why. Pittsburgh now boasts two receivers who both bring size, strength and proven production to the outside. Each stands at least 6-foot-3 and over 220 pounds, giving opposing defenses a difficult matchup on nearly every snap.
