Senior infielder Reagan Bartholomew of Waukee went 2-for-2 at the plate including a home run in Iowa State’s 6-2 victory at Creighton on March 18, 2026. | Iowa State Softball – Instagram OMAHA, Neb. — Iowa State softball (16-10, 0-3 Big 12) recorded a 6-2 victory over Creighton (12-17, 4-2 BIG EAST) Wednesday evening at Creighton Softball Stadium.

With the win, the Cyclones tie up the series with the Bluejays at 26-26-1 — the tie occurred on April 17, 1984, due to darkness. In that game, both teams tallied two runs in 11 innings. “We stuck to the scout, our bullpen did a great job today,” head coach Jamie Pinkerton said in a postgame interview with ESPN+.

“We got a few innings out of Liv Palumbo and then Schurman came in and did a really nice job after the game got tied. ” Reagan Bartholomew opened the scoring for Iowa State in the top of the third inning with her fifth home run of the season. Sydney Malott tied the game with a home run – her fifth on the season – to center during the first at bat of the fourth inning.
