Who are your favorite targets for the 49ers in April?

The first week of free agency is over, and the San Francisco 49ers’ primary draft needs are becoming evident. Because of that, it’s time for a seven-round mock draft. 1:27- Omar Cooper Jr.

, WR, Indiana Wide receiver is a major need for the 49ers. They signed veteran Mike Evans this offseason, but that’s not enough to fill the void left by Brandon Aiyuk. It’s pivotal that they address the position early and give Brock Purdy dynamic options.

Fit-wise, Omar Cooper is an ideal pairing with the 49ers. The explosive slot receiver is dynamic after the catch and creates consistent separation through his elite route running. He was tied for fourth among receivers with 27 missed tackles in 2025.

He is elusive in open space, yet is powerful enough to barrel through arm tackles. Pair this with his superb use of tempo and prowess at the breaks of routes, and a potential franchise receiver emerges. Head coach Kyle Shanahan would have a field day implementing Cooper in his offense.
