Bengals miss another free agent, this time a reunion candidate

Another possible Bengals target off the board. It's a name Cincy fans will recognize, too.

The Cincinnati Bengals are in the doldrums of the linebacker market in free agency. So much so, there were three reunion candidates of note on the market: Logan Wilson Germaine Pratt Akeem Davis-Gaither In a matter of minutes on Wednesday, though, Wilson announced his retirement and Davis-Gaither signed with the Indianapolis Colts , reuniting with former Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo. Granted, a reunion with Wilson or Pratt was extremely unlikely for obvious reasons, given the history there.

But it was a good example of just how off the rails things have become for the Bengals at a position of need brass said would be addressed in free agency.
