2026 boys high school basketball rankings: March Madness Super 64
March Madness turns to the high school basketball teams across the United States. Here is the USA TODAY Sports Super 64 basketball teams.
The wrapping up of the high school basketball season means the beginning of March Madness at the college level. With the top 64 teams (plus four) facing off for NCAA tournament glory, high school basketball, too, is into its postseason tournaments. With that in mind, if there were a 64-team bracket at the high school level, which programs would compete?
USA TODAY High School Sports pulled the best team from each state and Washington, D. C. , to craft a list of 51, and then filled in the rest of the Super 25 teams as well as a handful of other programs that showed their strength this season.
While most teams were champions of their respective conferences, there were convincing cases from a variety of other schools. As the NCAA tournaments tip off, here is the USA TODAY Sports Super 64.
