Belmont basketball has hired the school's all-time leading scorer , Evan Bradds, to be the coach of the Bruins, a source told The Tennessean on March 18. The source requested anonymity because no official announcement has been made. An official announcement is expected by the end of the week, according to the source.

Bradds, a native of Jamestown, Ohio , is an assistant at Duke , 31, where he's been since May 2025. He replaces Casey Alexander, who was hired by Kansas State on March 13 after spending seven years as Belmont 's head coach.
