Leading the way is goaltender Trey Augustine, who was recently named the Big Ten Men's Ice Hockey Goaltender of the Year. He is joined by forward Max Plante, another Detroit second-round pick who just completed an outstanding season with the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs men's ice hockey. Both players have been recognized for their exceptional seasons, earning spots among the top ten finalists for the Hobey Baker Award, given annually to the top player in NCAA men’s hockey.
