Josephson was checked low by Minnesota Duluth captain and defenseman Joey Pierce. The freshman center left the ice slowly, went down the locker room tunnel and never returned. UND coach Dane Jackson did not rule Josephson out for the regionals, but indicated it was unlikely he'll be ready.
"He's doing a lot of work rehab-wise," Jackson said. "I think there's a chance, but I'd say probably a slim one. " UND will learn its NCAA regional assignment at 2 p.
