Four Spartans named to the 2026 All-Big Ten First Team
Four out of the six spots on the All-Big Ten First Team were given to Michigan State players.
Michigan State hockey concluded its 2025-26 regular season, and after an early exit in the Big Ten Tournament, the team awaits its fate in the NCAA Tournament. Ahead of this weekend's Big Ten Tournament championship game, the conference released the recipients of its awards on Wednesday. For the Spartans, they took down a host of honors on the day, but the biggest honor may be having four players named to the 1st-team All-Big Ten team.
Porter Martone, Charlie Stramel, Matt Basgall and Trey Augustine were all recognized as the Big Ten's best players alongside TJ Hughes (Michigan) and Ben Dexheimer (Wisconsin) on the team. The 2026 All-Big Ten First Team is here ā¬ļøš„ pic. twitter.
