Full injury report for Joel Embiid, Sixers vs. Kings on the road
Here is the full injury report for Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers as they take on the Sacramento Kings on the road.
The Philadelphia 76ers will take on the Sacramento Kings on Thursday to continue their 3-game road trip as they look to take another step forward in an effort to climb the ladder in the East. The Sixers are currently the No. 9 seed, but are only 1.
5 games back of the Orlando Magic for that No. 6 seed which represents the final guaranteed playoff spot. As far as the injury report against the Kings is concerned, the Sixers will continue to be without Tyrese Maxey (right finger tendon injury), Paul George (league suspension), and Kelly Oubre Jr.
(left elbow sprain). Maxey and Oubre are still a ways away while George now has only three games left on his 25-game suspension as he will return on March 25 against the Chicago Bulls. As for Joel Embiid (right oblique strain), he has been upgraded, but is still doubtful against the Kings.
The 2023 MVP winner hasn't played since Feb. 26 due to the injury. His eventual return will change everything for the Sixers on the floor.
