Jadarian Price's NFL Draft stock is soaring, could Seahawks miss out?

Yahoo Sports

The Seahawks can’t bank on Price being there for them at No. 32. They’ll need a deep board of RB targets in a class with steep tier drops

Jadarian Price’s draft stock has soared since people realized he’s the clear-cut second best running back in the NFL Draft. But now, the Seahawks might not even be able to get him without trading up. The talk of the town around Seattle’s title defense has been how they replace Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, who left in free agency for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Last week, Seahawks Wire’s own Justin Melo wrote about the popular sentiment that the team will target Arkansas running back Mike Washington Jr. at No. 64 .

Today, Daniel Jeremiah released his new Mock Draft, which has the Seahawks taking Notre Dame’s Jadarian Price at No. 32 instead. As our Matt Legros covered today, the steep drop off experts like Jeremiah see after Price make him an obvious value pick there .

However, we’re still in mid-March, and NFL teams win the draft by staying one step ahead of the media. If Jeremiah is mocking Price to Seattle right now, he could fly further up draft boards. His mock drafts show trends of where prospects’ momentum are heading in NFL circles.
