The UNC basketball program is hoping to turn the page to the NCAA Tournament quickly.
The North Carolina Tar Heels enter the 2026 NCAA Tournament on a two-game losing streak after falling to Duke on the road and then early in the ACC Tournament against Clemson . After finding their groove in February, the Tar Heels are now looking to rebound and back on track for the tournament. But it won't be easy as UNC has a tough opponent in No.
11 seed VCU. If they win, they likely will face off against No. 3 Illinois.
For the Tar Heels, they are using the loss to Clemson as some motivation as it was a frustrating loss as Seth Trimble described. "It wasn't easy. It was one of those really frustrating losses," Trimble said on Wednesday .
"Your first game in the ACC Tournament. One of the things you always want to do is do good in your conference tournament, so just losing one right away was really tough. " North Carolina fell behind by as many as 18 against Clemson before having to battle back.
