The Dallas Stars announced Wednesday that they have acquired defenseman Jack Anderson on a two-year, entry-level contract worth $2. 1 million with a cap hit of $1. 5 million .

"Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed defenseman Jack Anderson to a two-year, entry-level contract that will begin in 2026-27," the team said in a statement . "Anderson will report to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League (AHL) for the remainder of the year. " Anderson, 23, recently completed his senior season at Michigan Technological University, recording 24 points in 39 games.

The rookie also served as one of the team's captains during this period.
