Detroit Lions signing WR that played for new OC Drew Petzing
The Detroit Lions are signing former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch, who played under Lions OC Drew Petzing.
The Detroit Lions are signing a familiar face for first-year offensive coordinator Drew Petzing . Petzing, who was hired to replace John Morton , will be reunited with former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport. Dortch, 27, caught 29 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns last season in Arizona.
In his five-year NFL career, the 5-foot-7, 180-pound receiver has reeled in 145 catches for 1,310 yards and 10 touchdowns. Dortch spent the past three seasons with Petzing as his OC in Arizona, so he will bring an understanding of what Petzing wants to the Motor City.
