Lamar Odom Pleads Not Guilty to DUI Charges from His Las Vegas Arrest
Odom is facing a DUI charge and accused of two additional traffic violations

Odom's attorney Kevin Coburn submitted the plea on his behalf in Clark County, Nevada on Tuesday, March 17, exactly two months after Odom was arrested on a DUI charge and two traffic violations, according to court records obtained and reviewed by PEOPLE. A bench trial has been set for the morning of July 7, the court records show.

On Jan.
29, the former Laker's manager Gina Rodriguez confirmed to PEOPLE that Odom entered a 30-day rehab program at iRely Recovery in Los Angeles following his arrest to seek treatment for his marijuana use. Odom's manager said the former NBA star was growing concerned that his cannabis use could lead to a relapse into harder, more dangerous drugs. “After a recent incident, he took a step back to reflect and address triggers he’s been dealing with,” Rodriguez said in January, adding that Odom made the “personal decision” to enter treatment to “reset and focus on his health.
” She also noted that Odom is taking "full responsibility and choosing to be proactive about his wellbeing" following the DUI arrest. "Lamar is grateful for the support and is committed to moving forward in a healthy, positive way," Rodriguez said. Amid Odom's current legal woes, the former athlete has been emotionally revisiting his nearly fatal 2015 overdose for an upcoming episode of Netflix's Untold series , premiering on March 31.
