The Nashville Predators have signed forward Zachary L'Heureux to a two-year contract extension worth $1. 75 million. The contract, which runs through 2027-28, has an annual cap hit of $875,000.
L'Heureux, 22, has played in 10 games for the Predators this season, scoring one goal and zero assists. After suffering an injury in training camp, L'Heureux spent most of the season in Milwaukee (AHL) where he scored 14 goals and 14 assists in 28 games. He was called up to Nashville on Feb.
25. The 5-foot-11, 197 pound forward was selected in the first round (No. 27 overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft.
He made his NHL debut in October 2024 and recorded five goals, 10 assists in 62 games during his rookie season. In January 2025, L'Heureux was suspended three games for a slew-foot of Minnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon. A high energy forward, L'Heureux has found a role on the Predators' bottom six as a physical presence along the boards.
