The team announced on Wednesday that wide receiver and special teams player Cody White has agreed to a new contract.
White was a restricted free agent but was not tendered, which made him an unrestricted free agent once the new league year began on March 11. For the most part, White has bounced between the practice squad and active roster throughout his Seahawks tenure, but this year saw him score his first NFL touchdown on a 60-yard catch-and-run against the Washington Commanders. Through 10 games, White played a career-high 282 snaps (165 on offense, 117 on special teams). With Dareke Young gone to the Las Vegas Raiders , Cody White should be in the running for the WR5/6 role. Seattle also tendered fan favorite Jake Bobo , who similarly contributes occasionally on offense but frequently on special teams.
