The Senior Bowl named New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough their 2026 Rookie of the Year -- ahead of his New York Giants rival Jaxson Dart.
Here's another postseason award for Tyler Shough. The Senior Bowl named the New Orleans Saints quarterback their 2026 Rookie of the Year -- ahead of his New York Giants rival Jaxson Dart, who also participated in the all-star game last year, as well as Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, who the Associated Press selected for NFL Rookie of the Year. So that's two Rookie of the Year awards for Shough, between this Senior Bowl highlight and the Pepsi Zero Sugar-sponsored ROTY award voted on by fans .
Shough started the back half of the regular season and went on a tear with the most wins (5), passing yards (2,384), and touchdown passes (10) by a first-year quarterback in franchise history. He accomplished a lot with a banged-up offensive line and rotating cast of weapons at the skills positions each week. That set expectations for Year 2 that could be challenging to meet.
