Kentucky's Elite Player Spills Secrets on the Streets!

Yahoo Sports

The Kentucky Wildcats continue to look abroad for recruiting purposes and have targeted guard Quinn Ellis.

The Kentucky Wildcats basketball team, and coach Mark Pope, have already shown that they'll look for players via the international route. They added Andrija Jelavic of Croatia prior this this season, and have now targeted another European star, looking to add him for next year, per Matteo Andreani . Quinn Ellis is a guard originally from Great Britain, currently playing in Italy for Olimpia Milano.

The 22-year old is averaging over 8 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds per game there. He also shined in World Cup play, where he posted 17. 5 points and 7 assists for his home country, gaining several honors.

Kentucky has competition for Ellis' services, though. The Duke Blue Devils , Florida Gators , Houston and BYU are all also showing interest in the 6'5", 200 lb combo guard. Pope and the Wildcats are now jumping into that race.

The estimated cost for Ellis is around $3 million, so he won't come cheap, but he is already an experience player who still has plenty of upside. Kentucky currently has no recruits in the 2026 class, so they're looking both internationally, and in the NBA's G-League. We will continue to update this story as developments happen.
