Joe Rogan was eager to see how the rest of Tom Aspinall 's title fight against Ciryl Gane would have played out. Aspinall vs. Gane at UFC 321 was ruled a no contest after Gane poked him in both eyes and rendered him unable to continue.

As a result, Aspinall retained his UFC heavyweight title. The fight ended with less than 30 seconds remaining in Round 1, but Rogan likes what he was seeing out of Gane (13-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC). With Aspinall (15-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC) fighting past the first round just once in his career, Rogan wanted to see how the Brit would handle deep waters.

"It is a crime in the sport that the fight with Aspinall got stopped the way it did, that he eye poked him," Rogan said on the latest episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast. "It's a crime, because that fight was playing out in a very interesting direction, because Aspinall was having a really hard time touching that guy. He was getting busted up.

He was getting touched up a lot. Ciryl's jab is legit. "How many times has he even been in the second round?
