With the Trojans missing March Madness once again this year, who should USC fans root for in the tournament?

The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament tips off this week, and once again, USC will not be participating . After three consecutive March Madness appearances from 2021-2023, the Trojans have now missed the tournament in each of the past three years. So with the Trojans not in it, who should USC fans root for in March Madness?

Here is a brief rooting guide: Root against UCLA This one is obvious. You never want to see your crosstown rival win anything. Go UCF.

Support the (rest of the) Big Ten Infamously, the Big Ten has not had a team win the national championship in men’s basketball since Michigan State in 2000. (I was still more than a year away from being born. ) Obviously, you don’t want it to be UCLA, but now that the Trojans are in the conference, it would be nice to see the league’s drought finally end.
