Cooley was former 4-star RB out of North Carolina. He started his college career at Louisville. He played in 19 games in the 2 seasons he was there, including 1 game he started as a true freshman.
He had 709 yards on 145 carries (4. 9 yds/carry) at Louisville. He then transferred to Georgia Tech where he played 2 seasons.
