With the deal DAZN continues to solidify its stranglehold on world-level boxing, essentially becoming the centralized platform for the sport with respects to streaming.
DAZN executive Shay Segev offered these words on the deal. “Boxing belongs on the global stage, and this landmark partnership with Top Rank brings one of the sport’s most iconic promoters and legacies to DAZN – the global home of boxing. DAZN already delivers more premium fight nights than any entertainment platform in the world and the addition of Top Rank’s elite events and historic archive further strengthens our position.
For fans, fighters and the sport, this partnership is about scale and setting a new standard for how world-class boxing is experienced. ” This move not only will bring Top Rank’s upcoming shows to DAZN for the foreseeable future, but it also provides DAZN with access to six decades of its classic fights which includes the likes of Muhammad Ali , Sugar Ray Leonard , Tommy Hearns , Marvin Hagler and many more, which will be made available to subscribers. As for the current day, Top Rank will be having its current crop of talent including Keyshawn Davis , Xander Zayas , Abdullah Mason and others who will now be featured on DAZN’s platform as they look to further grow their brands.
