New Headline: Jaylen Waddle Makes Dolphins Debut With Exciting Performance!
The Miami Dolphins traded Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos on Tuesday, leaving the wide receiver room thin heading into 2026.
The Miami Dolphins made one of the most surprising moves of the offseason on Tuesday, as they sent wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and a draft pick in a trade to the Denver Broncos for a package of picks. That move signals even more how committed Miami is to this rebuild with new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley at the helm. With Waddle's departure, the Dolphins don't exactly have a stacked room of wide receivers for Malik Willis to throw to in 2026.
Let's take a look at the group. Malik Washington The 2024 sixth-round pick out of Virginia has caught 72 passes for 540 yards and three touchdowns in 31 games over his two years with the Dolphins. He's projected to be the team's top wideout in 2026.
Tutu Atwell Miami just signed the Super Bowl champion to a deal last week. In his five years with the Los Angeles Rams, Atwell appeared in 64 games and caught 105 passes for 1,535 yards and five scores. Jalen Tolbert The 2022 third-round pick out of South Alabama spent the last four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys cand caught 91 passes for 1,093 yards and 10 touchdowns in 55 games.
He signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins this offseason. Tahj Washington Pick No. 241 overall in the 2024 draft, Washington has spent the last two seasons with the Dolphins after a collegiate career split between Memphis and USC.
