That's particularly true if you're the Cleveland Browns and the player leaves for the Baltimore Ravens . David Njoku has the chance to do that in free agency, though. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday that Njoku is visiting the Ravens, which is the kind of news that could potentially lead to a contract.

He was the No. 29 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and played nine seasons with the Browns. That includes one Pro Bowl selection.

All told, Njoku made 384 catches for 4,062 yards and 34 touchdowns in his Browns tenure. He became a bit less important in 2025 due to the emergence of rookie TE Harold Fannin Jr. , and it certainly appears the Browns don't intend to bring Njoku back.
