ESPN Pro Confirms Jauan Jennings a Perfect Match for Kansas City Chiefs!
During a recent media appearance, ESPN Analyst Mina Kimes discussed WR Jauan Jennings as an ideal signing for the Kansas City Chiefs | @EdEastonJr
During a recent SportsCenter segment , ESPN Analyst Mina Kimes shares her thoughts on free agent wide receiver Jauan Jennings being a logical fit to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs . "Jauan Jennings, to me, they call him "Third and Jauan" in San Francisco for a reason; he is a reliable target. He is where he needs to be on third down.
He runs good routes. He's got great hands. He can also block something you saw on display in San Francisco that I feel the Chiefs could benefit from," said Kimes, "Wide receiver is such a question mark right now in Kansas City, including the availability of Rashee Rice next season if there's a potential suspension.
So this is something they should look to improve. And to me, Jennings is a low-cost way for them to bring some veteran experience in for Patrick Mahomes. " Last season for the San Francisco 49ers, Jennings played in 15 games despite injuries.
He finished with 55 catches for 643 yards and nine touchdowns. He showed great potential in 2024, catching 77 passes for 975 yards and 6 touchdowns across 15 games. Kimes believes the Chiefs need to add to the wide receiver room, especially after the recent departure of Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles.
