The Ammies' 3-1 win over struggling Barrow on Tuesday was their fourth victory in a row and fifth in six games. Their impressive recent form has lifted them to fifth in the table, two points off the automatic promotion places with eight games remaining.
"We're 11 points ahead of where we were this time last year. That is just crazy. We've probably got the biggest injury list in the whole of the country," Robinson told BBC Radio Manchester.
"This has been one of my proudest years as a manager. I think I've really found a group of people who have certainly found - and given me back - a complete love for football. " Salford's past three wins have come against out-of-form Walsall as well as struggling Harrogate and Barrow.
Their end-of-season run-in sees them face fellow promotion chasers Cambridge, MK Dons and Notts County in their next three games and defender Ollie Turton said Salford must ensure they "turn up" for the remainder of their season. "We have to be up for every single game. We've not had, I don't think, one easy game this season," Turton told BBC Radio Manchester.
