Former fan-favorite Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback and current New Orleans Saints cornerback Beanie Bishop has received a multiple-game suspension from the National Football League. On Tuesday, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that Bishop is being suspended for three games to start the 2026 season. As of March 17, the league has not provided a reason for his suspension.

The Steelers waived Bishop amid final roster cuts in August 2025 and re-signed him to their practice squad shortly after.
He was released from the Steelers' practice squad in November and joined the Saints' practice squad in December.
