New Headline: "Local Legends Powering Through as Red Sox Aim for First Win over Blue Jays!

The 2025-26 All-Northern Section boys and girls soccer teams feature 48 of the top soccer players from the recently completed high school season. Among the honorees on the boys side is Winters sophomore Allesandro Monsalve. Monsalve scored 19 goals and 14 assists for the Warriors this season en route to a Northern Section title and an appearance in the CIF Regional Finals.

Winters head coach Alex Monsalve earned the first-ever Northern Section Coach of the Year award for boys soccer. Shasta High had two first-team selections in midfielder Gavin Copeland and goalkeeper Landon Renz. Foothill had one selection in midfielder Kole Mata.

Anderson had two players make the second team, including NAL MVP Israel Garcia Gomez. Gomez was joined by Uriel Berrum — Anderson's goalkeeper. U-Prep, West Valley and Redding Christian each had one player earn second-team honors.

West Valley junior Brooke Webb took home the MVP award on the girls side, and is joined by teammate Logan Carruth on the first team. West Valley's Kylee Jaramillo earned a spot on the second team. Shasta and Foothill each had two athletes make first team.
