Charles Barkley has always said what's on his mind, and during March Madness coverage the Hall of Famer once again turned humor toward his former network.
While appearing on tournament coverage, Barkley delivered a series of jokes that poked fun at TNT’s security and workplace setup, drawing laughter from fellow analysts and viewers. Barkley was prompted to offer an impersonation of longtime college basketball broadcaster Dick Vitale, who was paired with him for the Texas-NC State game. But the conversation quickly turned in a different direction.
Barkley took a jab at Bruce Pearl ans joked that one of his conditions for working the tournament was avoiding the former Auburn coach. “One of my prerequisites for working this tournament again was I didn’t want to be in the studio with you,” Barkley told Pearl. But he saved his sharpest punchline for TNT itself.
