He thought his time with the Raiders was over, and he made peace with the fact that he was traded to the Baltimore Ravens . He said goodbye to Raider Nation and was excited to begin his career as a Raven. Until Baltimore walked back on the trade, citing his failed physical as the reason.
Not many are "buying" the Ravens' reasoning for walking back on the trade, as they surely knew Maxx wasn't going to pass his physical, given where he is in his stage of recovery from knee surgery. But he's not getting into the theories out there about what went down. "This is the thing; everyone's got their own theory -- conspiracy theory -- no one really will ever admit, either side, what the real truth is or whatever," Crosby said on his podcast The Rush via NFL.
