On March 7, the NBA champion, 40, called the Gwinnett County Police, alleging that Amber Rose stole items from him. He told authorities that Amber Rose took “all” of his possessions, a quartz crystal chain, a wedding ring, phones and money from his car, according to police body camera footage obtained by PEOPLE on Tuesday, March 17.
Dwight alleged Amber Rose stole close to $20,000 from him. Prior to the alleged incident, Amber Rose filed for divorce last summer before the two reconciled. Then, on March 9, just two days after the recent encounter, Dwight filed for divorce.
Amber Rose filed later that day, according to TMZ . The former couple tied the knot on Jan. 11, 2025.
While speaking to police on March 7, Dwight said that he and his son were planning to leave and “do some stuff with [his] daughter," per the body cam footage. “I went to get my son, and when I came back out to my car, all my stuff was gone,” he said. He did not clarify which of his five children he was referring to.
