Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links GC defeated Rory McIlroy's Boston Common to advance to the TGL championship final.
PALM BEACH GARDENS — Tiger Woods' team is set to play for a championship in the second season of TGL. Jupiter Links GC defeated Rory McIlroy's Boston Common in the second TGL semifinal held on Tuesday, March 17 at the SoFi Center on the campus of Palm Beach State College. The TGL final will pit Woods' Jupiter Links GC against Los Angeles Golf Club , which defeated defending TGL champion Atlanta Drive 6-4 in the night's first semifinal.
In a meeting of the two teams who failed to qualify for the playoffs in TGL's first season, Jupiter Links broke open a close contest after triples by winning a two-point "Hammer" throw in Max Homa's singles match with Rory McIlroy.
