Raiders lead out week two of free agency by adding a guard to the mix.
It took until week two of free agency, but the Raides finally added a guard to the mix. They have signed former 49ers veteran Spencer Burford. The former fourth round pick out of UT San Antonio joins the Raiders after four seasons in San Francisco.
The 6-4, 300-pounder appeared in 56 games with 38 starts for the 49ers. Raiders new head coach Klint Kubiak was the pass game coordinator in San Franciso in 2023 which was Burford's second season in the NFL. Burford appeared in 14 games with 13 starts that season.
His rookie season, the 49ers had a top ten rushing offense and a top five rushing offense in his second season when he shared the team with Kubiak. This article originally appeared on Raiders Wire: Raiders sign free agent former 49ers mid-round guard
