Tuesday the Raiders re-signed DT Thomas Booker, making sure the big trade acquisition from during last year's camp in back in the fold for 2026.

Tuesday the Raiders held onto DT Thomas Booker, re-signing the restricted free agent, ensuring the former fifth round pick stays with the team. Booker was acquired from the Eagles during training camp last year in exchange for CB Jakorian Bennett. Booker would appear in 17 games last season for the Raiders with 13 starts.

In that time he put up 44 tackles with zero sacks and seven QB hits. The 6-3, 301-pounder could fit in at 5-tech or nose tackle for the Raiders this season. Former defensive line coach Rob Leonard takes over as defensive coordinator under new head coach Klint Kubiak.

Leonard is familiar with Booker's work from last season. It will be interesting to see where he views as Booker's best position in the Raiders new 3-4 defense. This article originally appeared on Raiders Wire: Raiders officially re-up with big 2025 trade acquisition
