Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith will start the game behind home plate when Team USA faces Team Venezuela in this evening’s World Baseball Classic final. Smith gets the start ahead of the Seattle Mariners’ Cal Raleigh, who is coming off a season in which he hit 60 home runs. He’ll be catching for New York Mets pitcher Nolan McLean , who will start the game on the mound.
