Steelers' QB Carson Beck Among 'Top 30 NFL Prospects' Heading into Final Year!
According to reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers are bringing in Miami QB Carson draft for a pre-draft visit.
We still have no idea who is going to be the Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback in 2026. Most believe that Aaron Rodgers is going to return for one more season but this still doesn't offer anything in terms of a long-term plan at the position. Pittsburgh has plenty of picks in the 2026 NFL draft so we won't be at all surprised if they take a flyer on a high ceiling prospect if they become available.
One of those quarterbacks is former Miami quarterback Carson Beck. Beck is coming to Pittsburgh for one of their Top 30 pre-draft visits according to Mike DeFabo of The Athletic. Beck played 2025 with the Miami Hurricanes after transferring from the University of Georgia.
Miami QB Carson Beck is in Pittsburgh for a Top 30 visit with the Steelers. Beck led Miami to the national championship game and had a strong on-field workout at the combine. With 43 starts (37-6 record), he has nearly three times as much experience as Ty Simpson (15 starts).
— Mike DeFabo (@MikeDeFabo) March 17, 2026 Beck is one of four or five quarterbacks in that third tier who the Steelers could target in the third round. Beck threw for 3,813 yards in 2025 after two successful seasons as the starter with the Bulldogs. Beck had an opportunity to declare for the 2025 NFL draft where he would have likely been drafted sooner but opted for another big NIL payday.
