UNC basketball freshman Caleb Wilson earns All-American honors.

The focus for the North Carolina Tar Heels has shifted now from the regular season to the NCAA Tournament as they look to make a deep run this March. But if UNC does make a deep run, it will be without star freshman Caleb Wilson who is out for the rest of the season with a broken thumb. Wilson has been sidelined since February after suffering an injury in the loss at Miami and then while recovering, he broke the thumb on his other hand.

On Tuesday, Wilson did earn some national recognition however. He was named a second-team All-American by the Associated Press for his play in his freshman season, earning his jersey in the Dean Dome rafters. Another jersey in the rafters šŸ™Œ @CalebWilson2025 has been named @AP Second Team All-American.
