Prospects Shine for Tennessee in Top-25 College Baseball Standings!

Tennessee junior Henry Ford was named to the Baseball America Week 5 College Team of the Week on Tuesday. Ford, a third baseman for the Vols, hit three home runs in Tennessee's four games last week. He also recorded 10 RBIs and 16 total bases.

In Tennessee's opening SEC series against Georgia , March 13-15, at Foley Field in Athens, Georgia, Ford hit two home runs, including one in the series opener and one during the a finale. He also recorded a 1. 000 fielding percentage, successfully converting nine defensive chances.

Entering this week, Ford leads Tennessee in OPS (1. 084), runs (19), hits (30), home runs (eight), RBIs (25), total bases (58) and slugging percentage (. 682).

His 30 hits are tied for seventh in the SEC. The Virginia transfer and Charlottesville, Virginia native, has hit in 12 of his last 14 games entering this week. Ford has recorded a RBI in nine of his last 12 contests.
