Brown Joins Eagles in Shocking 1-Year Deal; Hollywood Star Takes Over Football World!
The Eagles signed veteran WR Hollywood Brown to a free agent contract as trade rumors continue to surround star wide-out A.J. Brown.
The Philadelphia Eagles are adding an experienced wide receiver to their roster in NFL free agency. The Eagles have agreed to a one-year deal with Hollywood Brown , according to multiple reports. Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz was the first to report the signing.
The 28-year-old's deal will be worth up to $6. 5 million. Philadelphia will be Brown's fourth different team since entering the NFL as a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
The Oklahoma product quickly blossomed into a starter with the Baltimore Ravens and a top target for Lamar Jackson but has struggled to stay healthy in recent seasons. Brown's lone 1,000-yard season came in 2021, when he generated 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns. Since then, he has played in 44 games across four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs.
Last season, Brown posted 49 catches for 587 yards and five touchdowns with the Chiefs. He ranked second on the team in receiving yards behind only Travis Kelce despite playing under 50% of Kansas City's offensive snaps. The Eagles will be hoping Brown can post similar production as their No.
