The Bruins suffered a 4-3 overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils on Monday, in a game in which Pastrnak scored twice. It was a stellar game from Pastrnak, and Sturm said he was the best player on the ice and a key reason why Boston got a point. โThis guy, he gave us everything he had,โ Sturm said on Monday as seen on NESNโs postgame coverage.
โNot just because he scored two goals, he was the driver. He was good on the bench; he was always pushing guys. For me, he was by far the best player on the ice today.
โ Pastrnak tied the game in the third period, as he dangled his way to a highlight-reel goal. Bruins forward Pavel Zacha was also impressed with Pastrnakโs game and play on Monday. โIt is a lot of fun watching him,โ Zacha said.
