Jaylen Brown had one of the best games of his career on Monday night. He racked up 41 points, seven rebounds, six assists, a block and a steal, leading the Boston Celtics past the Phoenix Suns, 120-112, at TD Garden. Brown scored nearly half of his points at the free throw line, going 19 for 21 at the charity stripe and setting career highs in makes and attempts.
He had 10 free throw attempts in the first quarter alone. Celtics fans serenaded him with "MVP" chants during his foul shots in the fourth quarter, saluting him for his incredible night and marvelous season. After the game, Brown said he appreciates hearing the love and support from the crowd.
