Hot Shot Leads Oladotun to a Thrilling Victory!

Baba Oladotun started this calendar year as the No. 1 ranked sophomore basketball player in the nation but is ending it knowing that he'll graduate from Blake High School in the spring and start attending college in June. On Wednesday, November 19, 2025 a large group, including media, gather in the gym at Blake high school to hear the announcement that he will be attending the University of Maryland.

Voisin/The Washington Post via Getty Images) Five-star Maryland basketball commit Baba Oladotun hasn’t been on the court much his senior season, but the minutes he did play were historic ones. Oladotun — playing in just his second game of the 2025-26 season due to an ankle injury — helped lead Blake High School to the school’s first-ever Maryland state championship in any sport.
