Inter U23 were more positive coming out from the break. In the 51st minute, Amerighi cut in from the right and saw his left-footed effort deflected away from goal by the defence. From the ensuing corner, Prestia headed off target.
However, Vicenza struck again in the 55th minute, as Zonta’s cross found Stuckler, who headed home from close range. The Nerazzurri didn’t give up and pulled a goal back in the 66th minute, as Kamate’s cross bounced, catching the defence off guard, and went all the way in. Late in the day, Vecchi’s side pushed for the equaliser.
