Former Düsseldorf Stars Call for Heroes' Mourning with Jersey Tribute to Fallen Keeper Koch

Ex-player Vlatko Glavas told the Rheinischen Post on Tuesday that a letter from his former team mates had been sent to the German second-division side.
The letter asks if "there is a possibility to name a stand or VIP room after him. " Glavas added: "Georg did so much for Dusseldorf. He will remain in my heart for as long as I live.
" Together, Koch and Glavas helped Dusseldorf rise from the third tier to the Bundesliga between 1993 and 1995. Koch also played for a host of other German clubs as well as PSV Eindhoven, Dinamo Zagreb and Rapid Vienna.
