The 2025-26 All-Northern Section boys and girls basketball teams feature 30 of the top hoopers from the recently completed high school basketball season. Among the honorees on the boys side are U-Prep junior and Northern Section MVP Trey Pringle. This is Pringle's second straight first-team selection and first time taking home MVP.

Pringle is joined by Redding Christian junior Micah Skinner, who led the Lions to a state championship this season. Weed's Jaxon King, the 2024-25 Northern Section MVP, was also on the first team along with Foothill senior Matt Poulsen and Chico senior Davis Parent. Like Pringle, King and Poulsen were also named to the first team a year ago.

Oroville's Rob Anderson earned the newly named Phil Bryant Northern Section Coach of the Year award after leading Oroville to the Division IV section championship game. Other Redding-area hoopers on the list include Enterprise guard Julian Turner (second team) and Ja'Kye Rawls (third team). Redding Christian's Darren Goodman earned second team honors while teammate Collin Matos โ€” the section's leading three-point shooter โ€” earned a spot on the third team.

On the girls side, Foothill junior Madison Hart took home MVP honors. Hart is joined by Redding Christian freshman standout Weslynn Skinner and West Valley's Rainessa Matthews on the first team. Other Redding-area standouts that made the list include U-Prep's Layne McFadden, Enterprise's Cat Ahart and Foothill's Jaymes Arnold.
